Kalyan appointed GS for FFI

Admist a lot of sorrow and bad news looming Telugu Film Industry these days, there is one good news that came as a rare honour. The news that Kalyan was appointed the General Secretary for Film Federation of India is certainly a news to feel proud of for Telugus. Besides Kalyan, Murali Mohan and KS Ramarao were appointed as vice-presidents.

While C.Kalyan is a successful producer who gave superhit films like ‘Chandamama’ and ‘Khaleja’, Murali Mohan is a revered senior actor turned producer. As we all know KS Ramarao is a successful producer who gave many superhits to TFI. It is seen as a honourable gesture to have three people from Telugu Film Industry representing at the National level. This is seen as a good sign.

Producer C.Kalyan already worked as the President of South India Film Chamber earlier and his representation in the National level Film Chamber shows the growing importance of Tollywood films and film makers across the country. Tollywood is producing the highest number of films at present in the country.
