The iconic actor of Indian Cinema is celebrating his 60th birthday on 7th November who has a career span of 50 long years. The actor par excellence still has the same passion for acting , the passion he had when he started acting. He is a Tamilian by birth. But for Telugus he is Telugu and in Bollywood he is Indian. His uniqueness lies in his versatality.
Though he started very early as a child artist and even did many villainous characters initially, his card to fame had been ‘Apoorva Ragangal’ (film by BalaChander) in which he falls for an older woman. From then there is no stopping back for him & he did many classics and tried every challenging role that came his way deceiving the popular notions on the characters a hero should portray.
For Telugus, he is a passionate lover in ‘Maro Charitra’, a rebellious youth in ‘Aakali Rajyam’, a ‘Swathimuthyam’ who is naive, who can also dance away passionately to death towards ‘Sagara Sangamam’ and many more such classics which have written the history of TFI in golden letters. Besides acting, he is multi-faceted talent; a play back singer, director, producer, poet, writer, lyricist and choreographer.
To mention the number of honours and awards he received is a mountainous task. To mention the number of films he did is also the same. Kollywood to Mollywood to Tollywood and Bollywood; his journey to top has been pehnomenal and in true sense he is the Mr.Perfectionist since the time he ventured into films and @ 60, he has three films ready to release as the lead actor. What to say more! He is the first one who gave hope that ‘Oscar’ is possible to Indian films. On his 60th birthday, we the team of m9.news wish him a very happy birthday.
