It is known to our readers that Kamal Hassan had mortgaged his house to raise funds his latest movie, Vishwaroopam. The movie later was plagued by several controversies with the Tamil Nadu government banning it. Kamal had to go to the courts and later had to make cuts in the movie to release it. But now its all past. Vishwaroopam had released and had now crossed the 100C mark.
Initially, Kamal had mortgaged the house to a private money lender. In order to pay the moneylender, the actor had re- mortgaged my house. But this time with a nationalised bank and the payment terms are standard and fairly easy there. With the film garnering enough revenue, the actor hopes to get back the house soon.
