Kamal’s effort to turn daughter in to writer

Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan knows how to inspire his daughter without ever being strict. On Shruti’s birthday, the doting father gifted her something very precious, a script writing software and told her that she should seriously consider writing for films. Not because Shruti asked for it, but because Kamal wants to inspire her to write.

Shruti has taken the advice seriously and is thinking of putting her writing skills to test. The actress is planning to write for short films soon. She said she has been writing short stories, lyrics, and poems ever since she was fifteen-years-old. However, very few people have read my work so far. It’s only now that she has decided to reveal portions of my writing. She’s really interested in writing for short films,” the Shruti reveals.

With her busy schedule, one has to wait and see how will Shruti find time to write. And will she quit acting and choose to be a screenwriter? It will be interesting to see what will Shruti’s course of action to hone her writing skills.
