Kanchana joins the summer mayhem

After months of delay finally it looks like Kanchana 2 has found a release date. The makers have apparently locked April 16 as release date for the film. First look is expected to be out by the weekend.

The summer of 2015 is already overcrowded with multiple films and when something like Kanchana directed by Raghava Lawrence who is popular among masses joins the fray, one has to feel for the films in competition. The director also plays the main lead in the film with support by heroines like Tapsee and Nithya Menen.

Kanchana was a huge success when it released few years ago. It kind of started the horror comedy trend that is running successfully even now. If the sequel lives up to the hype, the summer holidays will ensure a long successful run without any doubt. It’s but good news for makers of Kanchana but for others?
