The teaser for Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa was released earlier today and it promises a large screen experience with ensemble cast.
We see many known faces like Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Kajal and others alongside the main lead, Manchu Vishnu. Having so many starry faces is an added benefit nevertheless.

Visually, the scale is there to be seen as the film was almost entirely shot in New Zealand amidst the plush greenery. There’s an aesthetic value associated with the lush visuals.
The attires of the actors on screen are expectedly rugged considering that the story is set in the second century. But a bit more novelty might’ve worked further well as the attires shown in the teaser are pretty much standard for every period film these days.

This is clearly the most ambitious attempt of Vishnu till now and he appears to have gone all out in terms of casting and production costs(considering the shoot expenses in New Zealand).
Coming to the mentioned strong ending, the final shot on Prabhas packs a punch. He appears to be playing an impactful character in the film which could certainly add to the box office prospects.

This teaser is an introduction to the world of Kannappa and it pretty much sets the stage for what’s to come as the film heads for release on the 25th of April. More promotional material will be out in the due course.
