Karthi Secretly Shooting New Bilingual Film in Hyderabad?

Following the poor performance of Vaa Vaathiyaar, Karthi is currently working on Marshal, directed by Tamizh. The makers are reportedly planning to release the film during the Diwali season, making it one of Karthi’s important upcoming projects.

At the same time, Karthi has already completed shooting for the much-awaited sequel Sardar 2. However, due to certain reported issues, the film’s release plans were postponed. Trade analysts believe Sardar 2 could either release before Marshal or become Karthi’s immediate next theatrical release.

So far, there have been no official announcements regarding Karthi’s project after Marshal. Earlier reports suggested that the actor was planning collaborations with directors Sundar C and Pandiraj for his future films.

Amid these discussions, fresh speculation has now surfaced about another new project. Reports suggest Karthi has already started shooting for an untitled bilingual film in Hyderabad without making any formal announcement.

According to industry buzz, the project is reportedly being directed by Kalyan Shankar, who is known for the film Mad. Reports also claim that Meenakshi Chaudhary has been cast as the female lead. An official announcement regarding the project is expected in the coming days.

Ever since Karthi made a cameo appearance in Hit 3, there has been growing discussion about him taking up more bilingual projects. Many of Karthi’s films have traditionally performed well in the Telugu states and his appearance in Hit 3 reportedly received a positive response from audiences.

Meanwhile, some social media users feel that Karthi’s recent setbacks may have slightly affected his market image among audiences. However, many fans still believe the actor has the potential to make a strong comeback with the right script selection.

At the same time, Karthi’s reported collaboration with Kalyan Shankar has surprised a section of movie followers. Based on the director’s previous work, some viewers feel it is difficult to predict how the bilingual project may shape up commercially.

Fans are now hoping the film turns into a successful venture and helps Karthi regain momentum at the box office. Trade circles also believe that if the bilingual film succeeds, it could further strengthen Karthi’s market in the Telugu states.

As of now, there is still no official confirmation regarding the project. It remains to be seen whether Karthi and Kalyan Shankar are indeed collaborating and how the film develops in the future.
