Kaththi starring Vijay was the second film in the combination of the star and director AR Murugadoss. This gave tremendous hype on the film and everyone in the industry was looking forward to it. As we had reported on the opening day itself, the last film in their combination failed in Telugu commercially. This was behind everyone’s mind and when the film opened to good response immediately talks about remake started.
This postponement too points in the similar direction but so far no one has been confirmed to be part of the remake. There are also rumours that the Telugu version is getting a separate cut when compared to the Tamil version and special care is being taken on dialogues etc and hence the late.
But so far as there is nothing officially known which has created lots of suspicions and chatter all over on Kaththi. We hope the makers clarify the issue soon.
