Kick 2 plans to take on biggie for hype

In summer when the film had its audio release Kick 2 looked like it could be the biggest film of the summer. It had that buzz and the director Surender Reddy was red hot with Race Gurram blockbuster success.

While the status of the director remains same, the delay has completely taken its toll on the film’s hype. It is almost forgotten today by the movie lovers, if that’s the case with them imagine among the general audience? However a new buzz is now heard in the industry that the makers of the film to generate the buzz again are going to clash with biggie Srimanthudu or release a week after it.

Will this be suicidal for Kick 2 as Srimanthudu will be a fresh product starring Superstar? It could very well be but right now getting the buzz back seems to be priority and releasing around it seems to be the best option. Would you agree with this strategy?
