Kick 2 to kick off soon?

Ravi Teja’s biggest hit in his career Kick will soon have a sequel. The end credits of the first part hinted at a possible sequel but since Ravi and the director were busy with their respective commitments, the project couldn’t take off. If all goes well, then the film will go on floors by summer of 2014.

Kick still remains a very important film in the career of Ravi Teja and Surendar Reddy, who is currently busy with Race Gurram, has been toying with the idea of the sequel for a long time now. The original was produced by R.R Movie Makers, but the sequel will reportedly be produced by actor Kalyan Ram, who had recently floated a production house.

If the project is on, then will we get to see Illeana again or will she be replaced by some other actress. Both Illeana and Ravi are extremely busy with their careers, while the former becoming busier in Bollywood. Kick 2 is said to take off soon after Teja completes his film with Bobby.
