After a Gap – Nani Tastes Failure

After Nenu Local, Ninnu Kori, and Middle Class Abbayi, Natural Star Nani finally tastes a failure with his latest release. Krishnarjuna Yudham is proving to be the bummer in the glorious run of the star.

The Merlapaka Gandhi directed Krishnarjuna Yudham opened decently on the first day, but the occupancies were not on the level of the previous movies or for the wide release it got. The second day saw a further drop due to the mid-week release. Even today, the third day, there has been no significant pickup.

The last time Nani had a weak film was Majnu which arrived after Gentleman. Since then he has had tremendous growth, and the run of KAY depicts that on a similar level. However, it shouldn’t be a real cause of worry as Nani has two exciting projects lined up next.
