Kushi Trailer: Vijay D And Sam’s Marriage Story

Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha have come together for Kushi, which is promoted to be a love drama. The trailer for the film dropped a short while ago.

The trailer starts with the establishment of the main premise as Vijay and Sam meet in Kashmir, and eventually fall in love despite oddities with regard to communities and family mindsets.

First, there were doubts raised about the ok screen chemistry between Vijay and Sam. The trailer wipes this out effectively as they look good together.

There are shades of Ante Sundaraniki, Geetha Govindam, and Majili. These similarities aren’t obstructive in the trailer and it has to be seen how they unfold when the film is seen in the big screens.

If these moments connect well, then the potential is good, but there’s also the risk of audience finding it repetitive. It has to be seen how the audience will receive this.

Music absolutely stands out in the trailer. The fresh sounding and soulful score have worked very well in the case of the trailer. We can expect the same to be the case with the film as well. The audio album is a winner already.

Kushi is up for release on the 1st of September and this trailer sets the stage for what’s to come. If the moments shown in the trailer pack the desired impetus on big screens then things could get real good for this Siva Nirvana directorial.
