Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited Leo is all set to release on October 19, 2023. The recently unveiled theatrical trailer has garnered mixed reactions.
The film’s runtime has been finalized at 2 hours and 43 minutes, with the first half spanning 1 hour and 13 minutes, and the second half running for 1 hour and 30 minutes, primarily packed with action.

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s films are usually very lengthy. Vikram and Master were almost 3 hours long and Leo is very close to 3 hours. While Vikram was engaging for most of its parts, Master suffered with too much lag.
The problem with such a big runtime is that if the film gets a positive talk it’s fine, but if it gets mixed response then lengthy runtime becomes a big hurdle for its box office run.

If the makers trim it after the release, it will be like admitting that there are flaws in the film. If they don’t trim it, the film’s overall impact will be diluted and there is a chance for the audience to get bored or impatient. It becomes a very tricky situation.
The movie features Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, and Arjun Sarja in significant roles. Despite mixed trailer reviews, excitement for Leo remains high, with advance bookings strong in the US and UK.
