Lingaa show in Taxi: Cabbie arrested

Piracy as we know is one of the the major challenges for any production house after the film’s release and Superstar’s Lingaa is not an exception.

After several Lingaa piracy CDs were caught in Tamilnadu, AP and Telangana, producer sought fans help and requested them to come forward and report to police if they find any piracy discs being sold in shops.

Recenly a Cabbie in Rameswaram was arrested by police for screening Lingaa pirated version to his passengers in his vehicle. Cabbie screened the movie in his 14-seater-van in the wee hours, when it was noticed by few Rajni fans they have called the movie distributor Kanthan who immediately swung in to action and stopped the vehicle. Police seized the vehicle and arrested the driver.
