Lokesh Kanagaraj stated that, immediately after Coolie, he is going to start the most anticipated sequel to Kaithi, which is Kaithi 2. He also has commitments with Kamal Haasan for Vikram 2 and a standalone film with Suriya, Rolex, and both these movies will commence soon.
However, following Kaithi 2, he is set to begin shooting his next film with Aamir Khan, the biggest superhero action film that he wrote a long time ago.
Following this update, netizens responded that it seems Lokesh Kanagaraj has confirmed that his movie with Aamir Khan is going to be Irumbu Kai Mayavi, as it’s his dream project, which he had written a long time ago.
Earlier, he stated in an interview that Irumbu Kai Mayavi would happen with Suriya. However, Kollywood audiences are now saying that it seems Lokesh Kanagaraj has “betrayed” Suriya by doing it with Aamir Khan.
