Loukyam finishes censor but waits

Gopichand starrer Loukyam has completed its censor formalities today. It has got U/A rating from the Censor board. But interestingly the makers of the film haven’t announced a release date officially yet. Previously, before the Censor process was completed there was a talk that the movie would be released on September 26 but now they have gone completely mum on it.

The reason for this is pretty easy to guess. It is because of the release of biggie Aagadu starring Mahesh Babu. The film is getting one of the biggest release ever in Telugu film industry so far and they are expected to retain a huge chunk of the screens for the festive holidays that commence in the second week. With Power also occupying screens and Govindudu Andari Vadele coming up as replacement to them it would be very difficult to get screens for Loukyam. Keeping this in mind the makers have kept the release date under suspense for now. Let’s see when they come out in open with release date.
