Mahanubhavudu – Good But No BBM

The music album of Mahanubhavudu has been hyped very much. Does the complete album match up to the hype and how does it fare in comparison to director Maruthi’s previous musical blockbuster Bhale Bhale Magadivoy?

Well, as an album Mahanubhavudu is a full package and SS Thaman delivers the goods. There are songs catering to different musical sensibilities and most of them work. So, Mahanubhavudu is a successful album, no doubt about it. However, the problem arises when we compare it with Bhale Bhale Magadivoi. And that’s where Mahanubhavudu comes across as weak. Bhale Bhale Magadivoi was a blockbuster album whereas Mahanubhavudu is a hit one.

Overall, Mahanubhavudu is also a winner among the Dussera releases as well. It is far better than Spyder which is far better than Jai Lava Kusa. SS Thaman has managed to satisfy the music lovers with a fresh sound and devoid of his usual template mass beats.
