Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram hit the screens ahead of Sankranthi on January 12th and the movie set the box office ablaze on day one. The movie which collected a respectable number on its second day has seen an upward trend on day three, with packed houses in several areas.
Guntur Kaarram earned a whopping 108 Cr gross in Telugu states, while the movie amassed 23 Cr from the rest of India and 33 Cr overseas. The grand total for three days stands at 164 Cr. Mahesh Babu’s star power is the main reason for the movie to perform remarkably well at the box office.
Guntur Kaaram which also starred Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary is a proper Sankranthi movie and the presence of many other noted actors brought completeness to the movie. Of course, Mahesh Babu’s mass makeover and captivating screen presence are adoring fans and general audience.
Although there is huge competition at the box office for this Sankranthi, Mahesh Babu’s star power is going to overpower everything, and the movie is likely to maintain a good run for a few more days.
