Mahesh Babu’s Strong Retort to Mumbai Journalist

Mahesh Babu is one actor who is not after Bollywood in spite of having so many offers from Hindi cinema. In all his interviews, Mahesh has always maintained that he is quite happy doing Telugu films and has no big dreams of Bollywood.

Mahesh was asked the same question when he attended an App launch event in Hyderabad. When a Bollywood reporter asked when will you do a straight Hindi film, Mahesh said “Since you are coming from Bombay, I would like to say that there is no need to do any Hindi film now. I can happily do a Telugu film and it will be released all over. The same is happening right now. As far as I am concerned, I am happy doing Telugu films here”.

Naturally, the answer got a good applause from the audience. But one thing is quite clear from Mahesh’s answer that he has no interest to do a Hindi straight film unlike his colleagues who are trying hard to bag Bollywood projects. With Rajamouli’s next, superstar Mahesh Babu will have his first pan-India release.
