Malli Pelli, a seemingly controversial biopic-kind-of a film based on the much talked about pair, Pavitra and Naresh is set for release on the 26th of May. As a part of the promotions, the lead pair of Naresh and Pavitra sat with M9.news for an interview.
In the exclusive interview, we asked Naresh to speak briefly about how the project happened. He replied “I myself went to MS Raju and asked the formulate the film. That’s how it happened. This film isn’t just an attention-grabbing one. It will also be based on the concept of how an elderly pair need each other. It will have a social concept to which all of the audience will relate.”
Naresh said “We are not cheating or misrepresenting anyone. We are showing this as a story in itself. If we want to take revenge, there are 100s of easy ways.”
M9News asked if they are saying this way to avoid legal hurdles “they replied it isn’t as such but this film addresses a general topic more than anything else.”
When asked about Mahesh Babu’s reaction, he said,” We as a family are together and are on one word always. We don’t have any differences. The family has accepted our relationship,” Naresh said.
Pavitra added “Krishna garu was a kind and warm soul. He used to communicate with me in English, thinking I didn’t know Telugu.” Naresh added on it “Krishna garu used to love Pavitra’s dishes. Our entire family members also food carriers to Pavitra. I’m happy that everyone’s accepted Pavitra.”
