Mahesh mania impacting Top-2 Tamil Heroes

Here is an interesting byte on Mahesh’s ‘1 Nenokkadine’. We all know Mahesh mania is at peaks now and ‘1’ distribution and audio rights bought for a whopping amount. Latest we hear is Mahesh’s ‘1 Nenokkadine’ is affecting pre-release business of two most awaited films of Kollywood. Ajith’s Veeram and Vijay’s Jilla is getting ready for Sankrathi release as well. Both the movies are expected to have a massive release in Tamilnadu but when it comes to Karnataka they are feeling the heat from our Super star Mahesh. Distributors reportedly offered reduced prices for these two Tamil films as Mahesh ‘1 Nenokkadine’ is most preferred film over Ajith’s and Vijay’s films. Ajith and Vijay are the rulers of Tamil box office and both of them are in the league for Kollywood No.1 race.

Telugu films with big stars have bigger market in Karnataka over Tamil movies but the only hero exception to this is Thalaiva Rajnikanth. However, the makers of the Ajith and Vijay starrers are not willing to budge on the rates. But it seems like they have no option as Bangalore multiplexes have already allotted their screens to ‘1 Nenokkadine’. Sridhar Pillai, a popular trade tracker says Tamil producers would like to try wait and watch policy to see if they can get better prices.

1 Nenokkadine is creating huge buzz, thanks to Super star’s power and excellent publicity material by makers. The micro teaser released yesterday “Who Are You” on stage with fans cheering Mahesh raised the expectations on the film to an other level. Audio will be launched on 19th December by Balakrishna but there is no official confirmation on the chief guest yet.
