These days rumours take social media by storm without even confirmation of the reality. Something similar happened with the veteran actor of Malayalam film industry, Mammootty.
There were several tabloids and social media channels spreading the news that Mammootty has been diagnosed with cancer. It is reported that due to this reason he has suddenly taken a break from his ongoing project with director Mahesh Narayanan.
The untitled project is named MMMN and stars Mohanlal, Nayanthara and Fahadh Faasil alongside Mammootty. It was also reported that Mammootty would stop all his shoots as he has to focus on his health.
However, Mammootty’s management has clarified everything – they bashed all such rumours as nonsense. They stated that he is fit and fine, it is only due to his fasting in Ramazan that he has chosen to take a break from films.
After this his fans were relieved, they called out netizens and news tabloids that were sharing fake news. Mammootty will fulfill all his commitments that also includes Bazooka directed by Deeno Dennis, the management advised fans to not believe vague rumours.
