‘Manam’ proved lucky for Andala Rakshasi

‘Andala Rashasi’ fame Lavanya Tripati really made an enduring impact with her looks and performance in her debut film. She won a lot of critical acclaim and seemed a promising actress. But her last release in Telugu ‘Doosukelta’ didn’t give her any brownie points and people who expected to see their Andala Rakshasi were truly disappointed. Next she did a Tamil film with Tamil hero Sasikumar. In between she did a cameo in Akkineni three generation family movie ‘Manam’. Lavanya’s was just a blink and miss appearance in the film.

Many were surprised why did Lavanaya Tripati even agree such a small role of no particular importance. Audiences couldn’t register her character and many didn’t know that she even did a role in the film. But Lavanya’s explanation proved her sentimentality regarding starring in the movie. She was happy just to be a part of the movie which happens to be the legendary actor ANR’s last film. ‘Manam’ proved very lucky for actress Shriya. She immediately got an offer in Venky, Pawan starrer ‘Gopala Gopala’. Now, Lavanya followed suit and she got an offer in a Telugu movie to romance Sumanth Ashwin in ‘Kerinta’. This movie is being produced by Dil Raju. Lucky indeed!
