Hit or Flop – How Does It Matter for NTR?

Manamantha and Janatha Garage are two films that are not at all related to one another in any possible way except for one common factor which is the presence of actor Mohan Lal. The Malayalam Superstar, a legendary actor is making his debut in Telugu cinema with the former film. So how can one film help the other?

Well, if Manamantha turns out to be a big success with people loving Mohan Lal in it, this would provide a great boost to his second outing Janatha Garage in Telugu. Manamantha need not be a massive success, it just needs to find appreciation in the right pockets like Nizam, Overseas, and Kerala. When Janata Garage releases a month later the positivity of Manamantha would help the Jr NTR starrer in these areas big way.

There is a downside here too, if the film fails, with Mohan Lal already making his Telugu debut, the freshness advantage would be lost for Janata Garage. To know which way the pendulum swings, we have to wait till Friday when the Chandrasekhar Yeleti directed film releases.
