‘Manchu Vishnu’s ‘Dhee’ if released now, would have collected around Rs.100-150 crores,’ says veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao during the audio launch event of Manchu Vishnu’s ‘Dynamite. Though this seems to be very far from reality, it can be understood that saying such things is like formality talk at audio events.

Coming to the title ‘Dynamite’, Dasari shared an interesting fact which our generation is oblivious to. ‘Dynamite’ belongs to Dasari who got this title for the grandson of Ex-President of India Giani Zail Singh 35 years ago, the ex-President gave 8-papers advertisment of the film (seems the project didn’t take off).
Taking a dig at the present formula of parodies and cheap spoofs, Dasari opined that the present generation is only encouraging spoofs and related content because of lack of taste. A couple of days back, Sampu’s movie opening to packed theatres is a fine example of audiences not encouraging good content films like ‘Errabassu’. Irony is, Sampu’s movie is produced by Manchu Vishnu.
