Prabhas’ Project K was already one of the biggest projects to be coming out of India. The latest addition of Ulaga Nayagan ‘Kamal Haasan’ has made it the biggest.
It was speculated that Kamal has been in talks to come on board for Project K for a few weeks now, but the official confirmation came yesterday.
Kamal Haasan is busy with his political ambitions and pending projects currently. No one expected him to be a part of a Telugu film at this point in his career.
The inside reports suggest that it was Aswini Dutt who convinced Kamal Haasan to join the cast of Project K. Aswini Dutt is one of the most respected and senior producers in Tollywood with a remarkable history. He mediated between the director Nag Ashwin and Kamal Haasan, and because of him, this difficult feat was achieved. Despite being busy with his own set of projects, Kamal couldn’t say no to Aswini Dutt.
On top of that, Project K is no ordinary film. It is a pan-World film mounted on a never-before scale. Kamal couldn’t refuse to be part of such a humongous project where he gets to play a kickass role opposite stars like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone.
