During the event, Chiru indirectly talked about Acharya’s debacle. He said that Aamir Khan is famous for taking risks by making films like Lagaan, Dangal, and Laal Singh Chaddha. But he himself likes to play it safe, unlike Aamir. He said he does films that are minimum guarantee and make his fans happy.
Then he added with a smirk on his face, “But sometimes things go wrong because of some unseen external factors, without my knowledge.”
It was obvious that Chiru was hinting at the failure of Acharya. It also seemed that he was pointing out that director Koratala Siva should have been more careful while handling the film.
Many on social media are not approving of his statements and trolling him for not taking any responsibility for Acharya’s debacle.
