Megastar to add colour to India-Pak match

In Telugu Film Industry, we have two iconic voices that generations would remember for the unique barritone quality. One is legendary actor Jagayya’s voice very popular among yesteryear cinegoers. And the one which is popular among the present day audiences is dialogue king Saikumar’s voice. Likewise in Bollywood, megastar Amitabh Bachan’s barritone voice has that unique quality.

Director Balki of ‘Shamitabh’ rightly says, “Amitabh’s barritone voice is the star of our film.” Just imagine Amitabh Bachan as a commentator alongside popular cricket commentators Harsha Bhogle and Kapil Dev. It’s not just imagination but reality that Amitabh is going to be a cricket commentator for India-Pakistan match to take place on 15th February.

Amitabh Bachan never had any apprehensions to use his voice for voice overs for many films, documentaries and social causes. And not to forget crooning for songs which topped the chartbusters list. As a part of promotional strategy for his upcoming movie ‘Shamitabh’, the film maker had planned to use Amitabh’s voice as a real commentator for India-Pak cricket match. What an Idea Sirji!
