Mixed Reactions To Nag’s Damage Control Act

King Nagarjuna faced criticism after an incident last Sunday at Mumbai airport. A fan attempted to take a selfie with Nagarjuna but was stopped and pushed aside by the actor’s bodyguard.

Nagarjuna, unaware of the incident at the time, met with the fan today and briefly interacted, reassuring him by saying, “Tumhara galti nahi hai” (It’s not your fault). This gesture earned praise on social media from his fans for Nagarjuna’s generosity.

However, some criticized Nagarjuna for not acknowledging any mistake on his own part and instead suggesting/implying the fan was at fault.

Nagarjuna should have acknowledged the situation differently. By saying it wasn’t the fan’s fault, they thought Nagarjuna tried to avoid taking any responsibility himself. This made some people think Nagarjuna was implying he was forgiving the fan instead of asking for forgiveness.

Some felt his response could be seen as even gaslighting. If the actor had planned damage controlling act, his team should have done it better and more convincingly.
