President of India, Pranab Mukherjee is going to address both the houses of Parliament on June 9th and Modi is expected to be busy with various Parliamentary affairs on that day and day before. If Modi attends the event, he will have to return on the same day night which could be hectic. It is said that Home Minister Rajnadh Singh and other BJP leaders will grace the event as Modi’s representatives.

Sources also tell there is another reason for Narendra Modi skipping the event. Telangana government and people are conspicuous of Modi’s government favouring Andhra Pradesh and its government. However on the other side, TDP leaders who met Modi on Wednesday said that the region (Seema Andhra) is looking at Narendra Modi to come to the event and instill confidence in them that Union government will standby the state in difficult times.

We will have to see what Modi decides in this issue!
