The long-awaited entry of Nandamuri Mokshagnya into Tollywood has finally taken a significant step forward.
After years of speculation, it has been confirmed that Mokshagnya’s debut film is set to begin production.
Initially, Balakrishna had planned for Mokshagnya to star in Aditya 999 Max, a sequel to the classic Aditya 369 in his own direction.
However, the project has shifted focus to a different film under the direction of Prasanth Varma.
Prasanth Varma, known for his success with Hanuman, has been selected to helm Mokshagnya’s debut. The choice is partly due to Varma’s rising popularity and the fact that his film is expected to be completed more swiftly compared to the more ambitious Aditya 999 Max.
Aditya 369’s sequel’s high budget and extensive visual effects requirements posed big challenges, leading to Balayya’s decision to opt for a different film for Mokshagnya’s debut.
Although Balakrishna has a keen interest in direction, he is unable to focus on this project due to his acting commitments, that is also one of the reasons, he agreed to Prasanth Varma’s project for his son.
The film is expected to cater to a broad audience with a compelling storyline that aligns with current market trends.
Discussions are already buzzing on social media about Mokshagnya’s debut, especially with reports of a huge 20 crore remuneration for his first film.
The film is anticipated to go on floors in 2025. The success of Mokshagnya’s debut could mark the beginning of a new chapter in the Nandamuri family’s legacy in cinema.
