Most polluted area of Hyderabad!

The most common problem faced by any city in India is the increase in the pollutions levels. As the development happens, population density increases and thereby pollution rises. Hyderabad is not an exception to this problem. In industrial areas, Balanagar and Jeedimetla, with 178 micrograms and 128 micrograms per cubic metre respectively are the highly polluted areas in Hyderabad.

And in non industrial areas, Charminar is the leader with more than 100 micrograms per cubic metre pollution levels. The low dispersion of air, lack of green spaces in the area and heavy traffic are said to be the reasons.Experts say that the huge pollution levels not only cause pulmonary ailments among residents but also pose a threat to the monuments in the area.
