MoviePass Jolt to MLA

When NRIs are rejoicing over the MoviePass ticketing service, it came as a big jolt that a movie like ‘MLA‘, though priced reasonably at $12 was disabled by the MoviePass. It means a big jolt for the exhibitors in terms of revenue if they don’t enable it soon.

From the Thursday premieres, ‘MLA’ collected $44K and it is the highest premiere for a Kalyan Ram movie, till date, though it is low. However, with mixed reviews, MoviePass not helping and not encouraging the moviegoers, it will take a couple of days to come to a conclusion whether there is hope for the movie in the US.

MoviePass Indian subscribers are hoping that it enables ‘MLA’ as soon as possible. The movie isn’t at premium pricing like in the case of big movies and one can only hope that the movie comes back to MoviePass App and helps the movie to pick up in the United States. Let’s see if they fix this issue
