‘Ikka’ to roll from August, No clarity on Mahesh!

The latest buzz in Bollywood media is that Akshay Kumar will soon be teaming up again with the renowned director AR Murugadoss for another action-packed thriller. Their previous movie ‘Holiday’ was the official remake of the super hit Tamil film ‘Thuppakki’, also directed by Murugadoss.

Their upcoming collaboration is also a remake of a successful Tamil drama flick. Titled as ‘Ikka’, the film will be a remake of ‘Kaththi’ which featured actor Vijay. While Murugadoss is re-adjusting the script to be fit for the North Indian folks, we hear that Akshay will still have a double role in the film. ‘Ikka’ will roll from August if sources are to be believed.

Although the news of Murugadoss directing Akshay is quite refreshing, we wonder when the Mahesh Babu film will start up? After all that buzz around his upcoming film, the fans are eagerly waiting for some more information. Brahmotsavam climax is being shot at RFC currently and the makers are hoping for an early May release. Hope clarity will arrive on Murugadoss-Mahesh film soon.
