It’s been nearly a year since Chiranjeevi announced he’d make a comeback in his much-anticipated 150th film. There has been not much development in this regard, but sources say that work is progressing on the project quiet secretively. Ram Charan and his father are busy finalising scripts. It shouldn’t take more than couple of months to zero in on the final script. Chiranjeevi has appointed renowned writer duo Paruchuri brothers, who have earlier worked with him on hit films such as Khaidi, Kondaveeti Donga and Stalin, to pen the perfect script.
There are also reports that this film will have strong political undercurrents to suit Chiranjeevi’s image as a politician. It has not yet been confirmed whether he will continue acting in the future, but the best swansong is being planned for him. It’s too early to comment about the subject, but Chiru wants the story to have some strong message. He feels he has long crossed that stage in his career where he could do anything to entertain audiences. Since he’s a leader now, he feels he has to make a responsible film. This is precisely why lot of thinking and time is going into finalising the script. An official announcement is expected sooner or later about the comeback flick.
