Nag Ashwin Clarifies on Experiment for Prabhas!

Netflix first ever Telugu anthology ‘Pitta Kathalu’ has stories from four different directors and one of them was Nag Ashwin who added his futuristic story ‘X-Life’ starring Shruti Haasan and Sanjth Hegde as the lead pair. Given the concept, is it like a teaser for Prabhas‘ upcoming movie with the director?

To this question by the interviewer, Nag Ashwin said that he planned this movie well in advance before Prabhas’ movie was conceptualised. It has got delayed due to corona pandemic. So, this concept was running parallel along with the pan-Indian star’s movie.

Though he didn’t agree that it’s not exactly like a teaser of Prabhas’ futuristic movie, Shruti Haasan’s post about ‘X-Life’ and how it’s ahead of times and still relevant makes us think that the director used this experimental concept to see the audiences’ reaction.

The explanation of the director to the above-mentioned question also gives us a hint and though he said it was a story he did parallely, there might be a connection.
