
Coming to the topic, an interesting report regarding the pre-release business of Bangarraju is doing rounds on social media now.
As per this report, ZEE5 has bagged the negative rights of Bangarraju. This would mean that ZEE5 owns the theatrical, digital and satellite rights of the film.
This report is a tad conjectural, given the fact that Bangarraju hasn’t even been announced yet. We need to wait for an official announcement in this regard either from the makers of Bangarraju or ZEE5 management before drawing any conclusions.
If ZEE5 did indeed acquire the negative rights of Bangarraju, it would essentially mean that they are blindly trusting in Nagarjuna to deliver the goods. Else, it could be a mere planted rumor to attain hype to the film before it is launched. In which case, it could be considered a gimmick from the movie unit.
