Actress Namitha, who has starred in Telugu films opposite Venkatesh and Ravi Teja, is all set to return to the industry in a bilingual film. The actress, who is known for playing heroine roles and doing item number, is doing a cop role for the first time in her career. She says she is very happy with the role is looking forward to the film’s release.
She said she had to work extremely hard for the role and even though there was a lead actress role in the film, Namitha was only keen on playing a cop. She believes it was time for her to try something different in her career and since has played leading lady roles several times, she wanted to try something different for once.
Namitha, who has almost bid adieu to her acting career, says she would only like to do character roles hereafter. She says she isn’t suitable to play lead roles any longer because she is way passed that phase. But, she says she will always remain passionate about acting and will continue doing different roles.
