Nani’s Next, Theme-Based Different Film

After the multi-starrer ‘DevaDas’ with Nagarjuna, Natural Star Nani will be moving on to his next, a sports drama ‘Jersey’ to be helmed by Goutham Tinnanuri. It’s a cricket-based film and Nani will be seen playing a cricketer who gets selected for Indian Cricket Team.

The fresh byte about the movie is Nani’s character. For the first time, Nani will be playing a middle-aged guy and his ordeals for getting into Indian Team will be filled with humour and there will be so many emotions. That means, our heroes are not interested to play stereotypical characters anymore. When the new stars like Vijay Deverakonda are making inroads into the industry being bold to experiment and challenge themselves to play different roles, others like Nani had to follow suit.

Tollywood is witnessing a surge of new films and this is the transitional phase in the Telugu Film Industry when it is going through tremendous change in terms of simple and yet different films. Including Nani, every actor has made a self-rule to stay away from routine formulaic films and Nani’s ‘Jersey’ is a big example.
