Maaya is the new straight up horror film that released for the Vinayaka Chavithi holiday weekend. It had to face competition with popular hero film initially but after the opening day rush Mayuri has won the race in winning the audience. Decent to good reviews and positive word of mouth has meant that the film has picked up greatly with each passing day.
The result of the word of mouth can be seen by the fact that Mayuri has went on to get house full collections at many centers on the first Monday too. If it continues to put up the same pace till the end of second weekend this will be another sweet surprise small success.
