NDTV’s Prannav Roy, the Senior most journalist had the courage to come up and apologized the viewers for going so wrong. Prannav Roy mentioned that they were so wrong only 32 years ago when they could not foretell the landslide victory of Legend NTR which routed Congress out of AP back then.
Back in 1983, NTR routed Congress out of AP winning 201 out of the 290 seats it contested with a whopping vote share of 54.03% and that put an end to decades of Congress rule. NTR became the first non-congress Chief Minister of the state just floating Telugu Desam Party nine months before the elections.
