Nepotism is a relevant topic in the film industry and the existence of the same in any language, including Telugu can’t be denied. In this context, a section of Tamil cinema followers tried to troll Tollywood on this topic by saying that Tamil cinema has more young non-nepotism products while Telugu has none.
However, this narrative was quickly busted by Tollywood fans who gave it back to Tamil fans.
First, Tamil cinema followers quoted the photos of young Tamil actors Ashok Selvan, Kavin, Manikandan, and Harish Kalyan to show that Tamil cinema has more young talent. Their intention was to show that Tamil cinema pampers young actors from non-cinema families and then troll Tollywood over the same.
However, Telugu cinema followers quickly gave it back to Tamils by quoting the pics of Vijay Deverakonda, Naveen Polishetty, Adivi Sesh, Vishwak Sen, Sree Vishnu, and others.
Telugu followers argue that the consistency of young Telugu actors and the scale of their hits is also much bigger than any of the mentioned Tamil youngsters.
Even factually, the success rate and box office returns of Vijay Deverakonda, Naveen, and Sesh are much higher than any of the young Tamil actors. So this has become just another instance of Tamil cinema followers getting schooled by Telugu cinema followers on social media.
From a neutral standpoint, any good actor working in any film industry needs the support of the audience, more so, given that OTT has erased the language barrier.
