Nitya undoes the 9-day cliché of SOS

One of the most talented actress of South Cinema Nitya Menen left everyone wondering on why she chose a very ordinary character like that she essayed in Trivikram’s SOS. Many opined that her role in SOS can be done by any upcoming actress and an outstanding performer like Nitya isn’t necessary for such unimpressive role.

Nevertheless actresses like Nitya might make some wrong choices for some professional reasons but their talent and judgement of roles can’t be judged by just one movie. It took only 9 days for the sensuous-eyed beauty to undo the cliché surrounding her SOS outing.

Two of her bilingual movies ‘Ok Bangaram’ and ‘Ganga’ (Kanchana 2) were released this Friday and needless to mention Nitya is walking away with all credits for her understated performance with subtle details in her expressions and body language. Especially as Mani Ratnam’s heroine, she is reminding ‘Mouna Raagam’ Revathi for yesteryear audience. Well that gives a lot of assurance for Nitya’s fans and she is back on track. Terrific performer in true sense!
