Not just Rajamouli, I own that film too

Who is the protagonist in Rajamouli’s 2012 block buster ‘Eega’? ‘It’s a fly,’ will come the reply instantly. Isn’t Nani the hero of the film? Some may say no as he appears only for 30 minutes in the film and the rest he incarnates as ‘The Fly’ and we see only it in the rest of the film.

However actor Nani doesn’t agree with people who ask, ‘Apart form ‘Eega’ what are your super hit films?’. Nani says that he owns Eega as much as his director Rajamouli does and people recognise him from all over the world as ‘Eega’s actor. It gave him life in the industry.

Though we see ‘The Fly’ throughout the film, in our psyche, it’s Nani who comes to our mind and his face which appears before our eyes when we watch the movie. Indeed, he is justified when he says he owns Eega as much as Rajamouli does.
