We had recently written how Kajal had been part of the extensive promotion of Nene Raju Nene Mantri along with Rana. Usually, that is not the case with heroines in Telugu cinema.

Taking the cues from such ‘general’ observation as we mentioned above, it was imaginatively reported that Kajal was paid extra for the promotion of the movie Nene Raju Nene Mantri. The actress was quick to respond on the issue. She slammed the report and gave a detailed explanation regarding the promotion aspect. It is something that the heroines are contractually obliged but whether they do it more or less, is strictly producers discretion, clarified the actress.

Of course, there was a mention of loyalty and responsibility which was an unnecessary jab. Kajal is super happy with the reviews she got for Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Many have stated that it is among the very best performances of her career. Well, we too conquer with that view.
