Dil Raju, producer of Ramayya Vasthavayya reconfirmed that the movie is gearing up for release on October 10th as Dussehra gift. Amid the political instability in the state. there were rumours that the movie may get postponed to a later date. But now the movie is releasing as per the schedule. This is a very risky step given that people in the Seema Andhra region are on roads and the bandhs may hamper the Noon and Matinee show screenings.
On the other side, things are also not so rosy in Telangana region also. Junior NTR’s father Hari Krishna resigned for his MP position in support of Samayikya Andhra movement. There are threats from student JACs about a possible disruptions in the state. A release in this situation will only deteriorate collections of the movie in both the regions. We will have to see if Dil Raju sticks to the date.
On the other side, the movie is going to Censor tomorrow at 11 AM. The first list of Nizam theaters and the release date advertisement is expected in Sunday’s Newspapers. All the best to the entire team!
