OG Opens Big in U.S., Holding Momentum Is Key

OG North America collections

Pawan Kalyan’s much-hyped movie with Sujeeth finally hit theaters and it is already making waves, especially in North America. OG set the tone right from the advanced bookings in the U.S.. Even before the first premieres, pre-sales had already crossed 2.4–2.5 million. On premiere day, collections surpassed 3 million, eventually settling at 3.1 million on Wednesday.

This is exactly the kind of strong opening expected from a star like Pawan Kalyan, something that had been missing in recent years. While Thursday saw a drop in collections, the numbers remained decent around 500K.

Friday and Saturday are crucial to maintain momentum, aiming for close to a million each day to match the pre-sale excitement.

With no major releases lined up next week, if the movie holds well, it could mark Pawan Kalyan’s full arrival at the North America box office, building on the momentum that began with pre-sales and continuing into the second week. Check out OG North-America collections so-far:
