It has now become a common practice to send content for North America at the last minute for US premieres. The same issue is repeating, with distributor Prathyangira Cinemas officially sharing an update about the overseas content dispatch of Pawan Kalyan’s OG.
OG U.S. distributor Prathyangira Cinemas posted a note about the overseas content dispatch. As per the update, the first half will reach Qube on Monday, 22nd September, around 9 AM IST. Qube usually requires about 6 hours to process and prepare it for its delivery. The second half will only be uploaded later by Monday night IST when they receive the content from India.
This means the content is arriving barely one and a half days before the U.S. premieres. Such last-minute trends have been worrying U.S. distributors who are investing crores into these films. Almost every big release is being handed to Qube just about 24 hours before the overseas premieres, and Pawan Kalyan’s OG is no exception.
On the other side makers of OG are yet to release the trailer. They went ahead with the pre-release event without it, and the rain during the event added more problems. Now, just two days before release, the trailer is still not ready but is expected to be dropped anytime this morning.
