Thaman Takes Centre Stage in OG First Talk

Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth’s much-hyped film OG has finally hit theatres. Early reviews from audiences and critics from paid premieres in the Telugu states and the U.S., are already out. One thing stands out: Thaman’s background score is getting unanimous praise.

In a YouTube interview months ago, Thaman confidently challenged that his work on OG would challenge the music of films like Jailer, Leo, Beast, and Vikram. He openly took names and threw the challenge to Anirudh. Whether he truly surpassed Anirudh’s popular BGMs or not, what’s certain is that he delivered an impressive score for OG.

Out of all technical areas, Thaman’s work is winning the most appreciation without any divide. His BGM matches the gangster vibe of the film and adds energy to the slick presentation. It has also revived audience interest in his music craft.
