Okkadu Hindi remake fails to impress

The Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Okkadu released all over the world today. The film named Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha has failed to vow the critics as well as the audience going by the initial reports coming in.

The Telugu version starring Mahesh Babu and Bhumika as we all know was a critical as well as commercial success. Changes in the script from the original version are said to be reason for this disappointment. The makers of Tevar of course had no choice but to change, as important segments from Okkadu were already ripped off in another major Hindi blockbuster.

The film could still do well in mass circuits as they haven’t had their kind of film in a long time. The last film that catered to them came more than a month ago and it was a damp squib that everyone has long forgotten.
